Shehaqua Representatives - Qualifications and Expectations

Who Qualifies to Be a Shehaqua Representative

• Individuals who demonstrate a heart of service and an understanding of the spirit of the Shehaqua Family, including:
  • Shehaqua program directors, assistant directors, education directors, young families directors, and advisors
  • Shehaqua administration: registrar, webmaster, director of media & communications, general affairs director, food services director
  • Active Shehaqua Circle members
  • Individuals who have consistently attended Shehaqua programs in the past few years; some guidelines for this are:
    • Attending any of the Shehaqua programs at least three times in the last two years
    • Attending a single Shehaqua program (such as Family Camp) at least three times during the last 4 years

Expectations of Shehaqua Representatives

• Vote for six Shehaqua Council candidates during the Council election every year. A failure to vote will be taken as a sign that you are no longer interested in remaining a Representative.
• Willingness to have your contact information shared with members of the Shehaqua Council
• Respond to correspondences regarding the Shehaqua community and programming (correspondence will be occasional, but important)
• Notify the Council when you are no longer willing or able to serve
