The meal serving coordinator's assignments include:
- Makes sure no children under 12 years old serve food to others
- Coaches meal servers on how to serve efficiently
- Make sure the set-up for the meals is complete: All appropriate condiments are out, and there are enough plates and utensils in all the necessary places.
- Replenish items that are getting low, i.e. syrup, dressing
- Clean up spills when necessary
- Keeps the food lines moving smoothly
