Updating Our Mission Statement, Shehaqua Summit, Survey Results

Dear Shehaqua Family,

What do you think the mission of Shehaqua should be? We are in the process of updating the Shehaqua Mission Statement, and we would like your input! By Friday, October 12th, please email your idea of the Shehaqua mission statement to [email address redacted]. Tips on creating a mission statement are below.

To help put together these mission statements, as well as to establish a 1, 3, and 5-year Vision for the direction of Shehaqua, we will be having a Shehaqua Summit. The summit will be held on Oct 19-21 in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey. Please see the attached pdf for the list of attendees and the proposed agenda.

And finally, the results are in! Please see the attached 2012 Shehaqua Survey, a big thank you to Claude Aubert and Nathaniel Ching for putting it all together. We would like to give everyone the opportunity to voice their ideas about the direction of Shehaqua. Together with your idea of the mission statement, please email [email address redacted] with any thoughts you have about the attached agenda, or about where you would like to see Shehaqua in 1,3, and 5 years.

In Summary,

  1. Check out the attached Survey Results and Summit Agenda
  2. Send in your proposed Shehaqua Mission Statement: "Our mission is to... "
  3. Send in your ideas about the Agenda for the Summit, and the direction of Shehaqua in 1, 3, & 5 years

Sincerely,
Kester Wilkening
Assistant Executive Director
