The Shehaqua Vision Quest is a two-week workshop created by 2nd Gen to help fellow leaders challenge themselves to grow internally. The program contains internal guidance, service, and outdoors adventure. During an intensive road-trip-style workshop, the team will live and work with various communities in New England, before concluding the trip at Shehaqua Family Camp.
Dates: Sunday, July 7 – Friday, July 19
The age requirement for participants is 14-19. Freshmen in high school can apply, though preference will be given to older students. For more information read the flyer here, and to sign up, visit www.shehaquavisionquest.com.
At the end of last year we presented you four versions of a new mission statement and asked you to vote for your favorite. Since the vote resulted in a 3-way tie the Shehaqua Council members held another vote at their recent Spring meeting, and here is our new mission statement:
