We are inviting all Shehaqua Council members, Representatives, Circle members, and anyone else presently involved (or willing to get involved) in the Shehaqua leadership and governance to a Summit meeting. You get to hear informative reviews of the programs we held since October 2013, participate in discussions on how to improve what we are doing, and you will get a chance to meet with your circle or join a new one. And there will also be time to just hang out with your Shehaqua Family and connect to others more deeply. For more information, please contact [email address redacted] by September 30.
In a conference call on September 8, the Shehaqua Council voted to divide the position of Shehaqua Council Facilitator—held by Gregg Noll—into two positions. The newly created position is that of an Operations Director, who will facilitate a new circle, the Operations Team. This new circle will bring together all the existing 10 program and operational circles. The Shehaqua Council appointed Laurel Nakai to this new position. Gregg Noll has decided to step down from his position of Council Facilitator, and the Shehaqua Council elected Claude Aubert to be the new Council Facilitator. We thank Gregg Noll for his many years of service, first as Executive Director, and later as Council Facilitator. We congratulate Laurel Nakai and Claude Aubert on their new positions.
